Discount Codes is in Features, under Bring customers in. The top of the page shows total codes, active codes, total uses and public codes.
Create a code
Press Create discount code and type the code.
Letters, numbers and dashes, up to 40 characters. It can’t be changed once created.
Choose the type.
Percentage (1 to 100), Fixed amount or Free shipping.
Set the limits.
Minimum order amount, maximum uses, expiry date and Once per customer. Anything left empty means no limit.
Add a short description and save.
Customers see the description (up to 160 characters).
Good to know
- A discount code applies to every product. For a single product, use that product’s own discount.
- A free-shipping code is rejected on an order with no delivery cost.
- Loyalty points are applied after the discount code.
- Deleting a code is permanent; to pause one, switch off Active.
- You can also send discount codes to commenters with Smart Direct.
