In this lesson

  • Create a service product and choose how it’s delivered
  • Send every buyer a unique code or account
  • Ask buyers questions at checkout
On this page — 3 sections
  1. Three ways to deliver
  2. The deliveries queue
  3. Asking the buyer for details

ProMall has two product types: Physical goods and Service. A digital product (a file, a link, a licence or an account) is a service with a delivery method. Services skip the shipping step.

Three ways to deliver

I handle it myself
The default. After payment you arrange things with the buyer, such as booking a consultation.
Same link or file for everyone
A note, link or file that every buyer receives, such as a recorded course.
One preset account or code per buyer
For licences, gift cards or accounts. Each buyer gets one item from your pool.

The deliveries queue

After your first service product, a Deliveries tile appears in Features. Orders are sorted into pending, delivered and revoked. From here you can Deliver manually or resend the delivery email.

Asking the buyer for details

If you need information to do the job (an Instagram handle for a page service, or engraving text), open Settings, then Order Management and, under Questions for the buyer, press Add a question.

Answer type
Short or long text, number, email, mobile number, link, multiple choice or date.
Who is asked
Every order or only Specific products.
Switches
Required, active, and secret, which encrypts the answer and only shows it behind a reveal button.
