Automatic drafts

Every change in the Studio saves itself about a second after you stop. The status at the top tells you where you are: Published, Unpublished changes or Not published yet.

Publish

  1. Press Publish.

If there’s nothing new to publish, the button is disabled.

  2. Read the checklist.

Items under Fix these items before publishing must be fixed; the other warnings are only suggestions.

  3. Confirm.

Your site updates for everyone straight away.

What blocks publishing

  • Removing the shop intro or all-products section
  • A product, category or link that no longer exists
  • Invalid contact details in the footer
  • Too many sections of one type, or more than 32 on a page
  • An invalid end time on a countdown

Going back

From the Studio menu, Restore previous version brings back the last published version, and Discard draft throws away every unpublished change.
